Mario I. Blejer is a Founding Partner of Macroeconomic Advisory Group. Dr. Blejer was Director of the Centre for Central Banking Studies of the Bank of England and member of the Bank’s Financial Stability Committee. Previously, Dr. Blejer was Governor and Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Argentina (2001-02) and for more than 20 years he held various senior positions at the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. He has taught, among others, at the Hebrew, New York, Boston, and San Andres (Buenos Aires) Universities. He has published over 100 articles in professional journals and edited various books. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago (1975).
